The story
25 years in the industry,
and still learning
Jodie’s journey in the beauty and aesthetics industry has been built on a strong foundation of education, experience and a genuine passion for helping people feel confident in themselves.
She began her career 25 years ago with BTEC Level 3 qualifications in Applied Science and Beauty Therapy — a grounding in the science behind treatments, skin health and facial anatomy, and an understanding of the structures of the face that still underpins everything she does today.
From there she continued to invest in her education, undertaking additional training before entering the world of aesthetics. Over the years she has gained extensive hands-on experience and developed her skills as an experienced aesthetic practitioner and injector.
As her passion grew, she progressed into advanced aesthetics, taking further specialist training and continually challenging herself to improve her knowledge, technique and understanding of facial anatomy. As a non-medical practitioner, she has worked hard to establish herself within the industry through experience, continued education and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
She has now achieved her Ofqual-regulated Level 4 qualification in Aesthetic Practice, and is currently working towards Level 5 and Level 7 — because the aesthetics industry is constantly evolving, and keeping her knowledge, skills and techniques up to date is what allows her to give clients professional, considered and high-quality care.
Her qualifications are not simply certificates. They represent years of dedication, experience, training and a commitment to continually becoming better at what she loves.
She works one client at a time from a private lounge in Bangor. No waiting room, no conveyor belt, no being handed to whoever is free. Your appointment is yours, and it isn’t squeezed between two others.

Questions, answered
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes, for anything injectable. Jodie takes a medical history, assesses your facial structure and skin, and talks through what’s realistic before anything is agreed.
How long does lip filler last?
Usually six to twelve months, depending on the product, the amount placed and how quickly your body breaks it down. Some people metabolise filler noticeably faster than others.
Is there downtime after microneedling?
Expect redness like mild sunburn for 24 to 48 hours. Most people are comfortable bare-faced the next day and fully settled by day three.
How soon will anti-wrinkle injections work?
Movement starts to soften from around day three to five, with the full effect at two weeks — which is when a review appointment is worth having. Results typically last three to four months.
Is there anything that would stop me being treated?
Pregnancy and breastfeeding rule out most injectables, as do certain medical conditions, medications and active skin infections in the treatment area. Bring your full medical history and Jodie will advise.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Clearpay splits any treatment into four interest-free payments. You need to be 18 or over and Clearpay’s terms apply.
